Juan López

Juan López Ferrol,

Graduate in History of Art and in History and Sciences of Music.

Among his exhibitions are the group show Sons Improbábeis at the Auditorio de Galicia (2022) curated by Iñaki Martínez Antelo, Cruces en el Arte Gallego at the CGAC (2022) curated by Santiago Olmo and Sara Donoso or Paisajes sin título (2017) at the Fundación Manolo Paz in Cambados. Also noteworthy is his solo exhibition ES OTRO at the DIDAC foundation (2019) and at the Centro Torrente Ballester in Ferrol, both curated by David Barro. This project gave rise to the Himno Series, with which the first edition of the Plataforma Festival was inaugurated in Santiago de Compostela (2020).

His work was selected in awards such as the Isaac Díaz Pardo (acquisition in 2021), in the Jesús Núñez International Graphic Art Award (Honorable Mention in 2013) and the Novos Valores de la Diputación Provincial de Pontevedra (2013) or the Máximo Ramos International Graphic Award at the Torrente Ballester Center in Ferrol (2016 and 2018).

He participated in artistic workshops and artistic residencies under the direction of Ignasi Aballí, Daniel Canogar, Miguel Palma, Manolo Quejido or Sandra Cinto among others.

His work is present in collections such as the DIDAC Foundation, the CIEC Foundation, the Provincial Council of A Coruña or the CGAC Collection, among others.
