We are happy to announce that Mar Ramón Soriano has been selected to enjoy one of the five Fulbright Grants awarded by the Fulbright Commission and the Xunta de Galicia!

Mar will conduct her training and research primarily at the Observational Practices Lab at the Parsons School of Design in New York, in addition to the Hispanic Society of America. There she will develop her project that will expand the research initiated in her recently presented doctoral thesis that proposes the gaze as a device of plastic production, creating a link between this question and the photographic practice carried out by the American Ruth Matilda Anderson in the villages of Galicia during the 1920s.
